Old and New Photographs of Hershey, Pennsylvania and The Hershey Industrial School - Souvenir Book of Hershey, PA (Photos of The World Renowned Chocolate Town)


As stated, this book was :Reproduced By: Grachic Arts/Printing Students of the Milton Hershey School (1998). There is no copyright, but it is stated that the book was previously printed in 1946 (two times) by Peter Di Stefano and Harry Sherlock and in 1947 (two times) by LudwigHorn and Joseph Malodovitch. There are 46 pages in this unpaginated book. The dimensions of the book are 8.25" wide and 4.75" tall, having a two-staple spine. The cover and all pages are reproduced in black and white. Most pages have a full-page photo and some pages have two or three. Many photos do not have a date. The book is divided into a section for the town of Hershey, and a section for Photographs of The Hershey Industrail School. Just some of the titles are: Building the town of Hershey 1903, The Town of Hershey in 1920, Sports Arena and Indian Museum, The American Legion Home, Hershey Boat House, Hotel Hershey and Rose Garden, Hershey Hospital, Oxygen Tent, Typical Ward, An Early Sketch of The Hershey Park Entrance, East Chocolate Avenue in 1920, Memorial Day Parade on Chocolate Avenue in 1945, Hotel Hershey (and several photos of the interior), The Hershey Industrial Junior-Senior High School, Mr. Hershey and one of his boys, Hershey Industrial School in January (and several photos of the interior), Dinner at the Farm Home, Study at the Farm Home, Print Shop, Machine Shop, Typical Orchestra, Typical Baseball Team, Foyer, Library, The first 27 boys of the Hershey Industrial School in 1912, Mr. Hershey's Boyhood School. Mr. M.S. Hershey on his 81st birthday.
